Biplot analysis is a visualization method used to group regions based on similar characteristics by projecting multivariate data into a two-dimensional space using Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). SVD itself is a commonly used technique for determining the principal components in a biplot. This research aims to map the characteristics of districts/cities in West Sumatra Province based on coconut commodities using biplot analysis. The data used consists of three main variables: coconut production, harvest area, and productivity for 19 districts/cities in 2024. The biplot analysis visualizes the relationships between these variables and the similarities among regions. The results show four main groups: Regions with high productivity and high production, High productivity but small harvest area, Regions with standard characteristics across all variables, and Regions with large harvest areas and high production. Biplot interpretation was supported by the value of 99.60%, indicating excellent representation of the data.
