Abstract

Drugs are substances or drugs derived from plants or non-plants, both synthetic and semi-synthetic which can cause a decrease or change in consciousness, loss of feeling, reduce to eliminate pain and can cause dependence. Drug abuse is the use of drugs that are not for medical and research purposes, and are used without following the rules or correct dosage, so that they can cause physical health problems, social disorders and mental disorders. The purpose of this study is to determine the multiple regression model and factors that significantly influence the amount of narcotics consumption in the community in Padang City. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The multiple linear regression model that describes the factors that influence the amount of narcotics consumption in Padang City is the length of use.
